In BRISTOL the local folk association that is all around the area is well worth visiting.

Melksham Country Dancers meet every week on Mondays (except bank holidays).

Salisbury Folk Dance Club meets every Tuesday during school term time.

Westbury Folk Dance Club meets fortnightly on Thursdays.

Wroughton Folk Dance Club meets every Wednesday during school term time.

Frenchay Folk Dance Club in Bristol meet fortnightly on a Wednesday.

Morris and Ritual Dance Sides


The Chippenham Morris Men have an extensive programme and a visit to their site shows the history of how they were formed, past members and current activities and members.

If it is exciting Ladies Clog Morris and Garland style dances you want then the team to contact is .  HIPS and HAWS  who hail mostly from Chippenham.

Devizes has its own local morris side called appropriately . Moonraker Morris.

To the north of Wiltshire there is also Malmesbury Morris.  or alternatively visit their other website

And in the south of the county there is Salisbury where Sarum Morris dance.
